Accessibility statement
Ava Sinclair wants everyone to be able to search for homes, learn about our services and reach us easily — including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor and cognitive disabilities.
What we have in place
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG contrast requirements in every color scheme the site offers.
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and descriptive link text so screen readers can navigate them quickly.
- Every form field has a visible label, errors are described in text, and status messages are announced.
- Animations are kept subtle and switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages reflow for small screens and remain usable when text is enlarged up to 200 percent.
Known limitations
- Maps, videos and virtual tours are provided by third-party services. Their players may not meet every accessibility standard, so we include the address, key facts and a contact option alongside each one.
- Listing photos and descriptions can come from multiple listing services and other agents, and some may lack detailed image descriptions.
- Brochures, disclosures and other PDF documents prepared by third parties may not be fully accessible. We are happy to provide them in another format.
