It is the small things the team does every week, without being asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are a few of ours. None of them are clever. All of them have survived busy months, quiet months and one pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Friday review<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every Friday at four, everything we made that week goes on the wall \u2014 finished or not. Ten minutes per project, no slides, no apologies. It is the single most useful hour of our week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lunch at one table<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We eat together, at the long table, most days. It sounds trivial. It is where half of our best ideas and most of our problem-solving happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rituals are compressed decisions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A ritual saves a team from deciding the same thing over and over again. When to share work, how to give feedback, when to stop. That frees up attention for the work itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are what we repeatedly do.<\/p>\n<cite>Will Durant<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are starting a studio, don\u2019t start with values.
